Obstacles to move forward 2
a) Relationships not established
▪ All relationships are based on trust, and relationships allow collaboration towards bigger goals than one can achieve alone. The society is a collection of many groups of individuals, each laboring towards their own goals. When distrust comes first, relationships do not develop, and obligations do not get done.
b) Me priority
▪ Excessive focus on oneself leads to conflict and diversion. In this case, the person tends to look at short term benefits, disregarding the gin or loss of anybody else. The narrow minded person loses proper perspective, and the balance of benefits is lost. A better viewpoint considers one’s benefits in the context of the merits for the community. When the community benefits, everybody gains, and vice versa, as every person is a member of the community. A happier society is realized in the long term.
